From now until the end of August, I'm running a special preorder sale on "Writing Is Easy." Copies of WIE can be purchased from my website bookstore for $16.95, which is $3 off the cover price. Orders will be shipped out as soon as the books arrive from the publisher, which should be before the end of August.

I have made the necessary upgrades to my Bookstore page. Now shoppers are not required to have or create a PayPal account of their own to purchase books from my bookstore. Once you are satified with the contents of your shopping cart, click the "Proceed to checkout" button and you will be directed to a PayPal login screen. On the bottom-left corner of the screen, look for the title that says: "Don't have a PayPal account?" Below it, there will be a link that says: Continue. Click the Continue link and you will have a form to enter in your credit card and shipping information. You can pay by Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express. Problems or questions?? Click on the "Contact Info" link from my website's main menu and send me a message. I also have an update on the release of "Writing Is Easy." There has been a slight delay with the print run, and we're now expecting the books to be available by August 15th. Thank you!!

"The Blue-Collar Blues," a fan favorite amongst my short stories, has been announced as a finalist for the 2010 Royal Palm Literary Awards for the published short story category. "Blues" has been published in the Rogues Gallery Writers colleciton, "Writing Is Easy." Books should be available any day now. In "The Blue-Collar Blues," Terry, the story's protagonist, breaks off an affair with his best friend's wife, which starts a chain reaction of events that uncovers the past and threatens love, loyalty, and Terry's very existence. The RPLA winners will be announced at the 9th annual Florida Writers Conference, which will be held this October in Lake Mary, FL.
